American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture
The American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture (ABCA) is dedicated to promoting excellence in the chiropractic profession by providing national testing for Diplomate status in the field of chiropractic acupuncture. Its mission is to credential knowledgeable and effective chiropractic practitioners in the art, science, and philosophy of chiropractic acupuncture within nationally recognized standards.
Chiropractic Sciences
Diplomate in Applied Chiropractic Sciences (DACS)
The Council on Applied Chiropractic Sciences Diplomate in Applied Chiropractic Sciences (DACS) credential is undergoing redevelopment, with curricular updates including recent research, case management protocols, and distance learning components. The C.C.S.T. program has been designated as the first year of the DACS program and grandfathering and curricular update requisites for those having earned their credential in the earlier years of that program are also in development.

Forensics
American Board of Forensic Professionals
The American Board of Forensic Professionals (ABFP) is a nonprofit corporation which provides national certification in a variety of fields. Currently, the ABFP offers diplomate certification in the field of chiropractic forensics (D.A.B.F.P.) and national certification in impairment rating based on the current edition of the AMA Guides to Impairment. The ABFP is National Commission Of Credentialing Agencies (NCCA) compliant and is a member of the National Organization of Credentialing Agencies (NOCA). The ABFP verifies course admissibility, candidate qualifications, provides certification, and maintains candidate records to comply with national credentialing criteria.
Internists
Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists (DABCI)
The Council on Diagnosis and Internal Disorders (CDID), established in 1985, is an educational board and specialty council of the American Chiropractic Association that administers and coordinates the post doctoral degree, Diplomate in Diagnosis and Internal Disorders (DABCI). Our physicians are trained in modern medical diagnosis, functional medicine, and natural therapeutics. Chiropractic physicians with a DABCI post doctoral certification utilize conventional medical diagnostics, specialized functional testing, and wholistic medicine diagnostic evaluations.
Neurology
International Board of Chiropractic Neurology (IBCN)
The International Board of Chiropractic Neurology is an apolitical chiropractic organization that began establishing neurology certification in 1997. The IBCN board members have employed the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) and Professional Evaluation Services (PES), to assist in proper psychometric test development. The IBCN is an approved member of the International Board of Chiropractic Specialties and promotes the proper use of principles and techniques in the field of chiropractic neurology and support those principles, policies and practices that seek the attainment of the highest order of excellence in neurological skills directed at patient care by doctors of chiropractic.

American Chiropractic Neurology Board
The purpose of the certification program of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board is to conduct certification activities in a manner that upholds standards for competent practice in the health care specialty of Chiropractic Neurology. The Board also conducts recertification designed to enhance the continued competence of the Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist.
Nutrition
American Clinical Board of Nutrition (ACBN)
The American Clinical Board of Nutrition (ACBN) is a nationally recognized, certifying agency in nutrition. ACBN is recognized by the American Chiropractic Association and is a member of the American Board of Chiropractic Specialties. The ACBN also holds accreditation from the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). The ACBN is the first and currently only certifying agency in nutrition to offer Diplomate status to all professionals in the health care field, beyond the doctorate level in the United States and Internationally. Certificants of the ACBN hold the distinction of Diplomate American Clinical Board of Nutrition (DACBN).
Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition (CBCN)
The Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition (CBCN) is a credentialing and certifying agency under the auspices of the American Chiropractic Association and a member of the American Board of Chiropractic Specialties. Diplomate candidates must be chiropractic physicians and have successfully completed the required post graduate nutrition coursework. Then, upon successful completion of our examination, which was developed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE), the CBCN is authorized and recognized to issue the specialty certification of Diplomate (DCBCN).

Occupational Health
American Chiropractic Board on Occupational Health
the American Chiropractic Association's Council on Occupational Health (ACACOH), a professional nonprofit organization promoting Doctors of Chiropractic as gatekeepers of health care diagnosis and treatment choices for workplace neuromusculoskeletal injuries, and as providers of a broad menu of workplace injury and illness prevention services for employers.
Orthopedics
Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedics
Satisfactory completion of a Post-graduate Orthopedic Program or Masters of Science degree program in orthopedic science, approved by the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists (ACO), will qualify a doctor of chiropractic / chiropractic physician as eligible to sit the orthopedic specialty board certification examination; as administered by the ACO leading to the Diplomate, Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists (DACO) certification status.
American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics
The American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics (ABCO) is a voluntary, non-profit, professional credentialing board that certifies qualified chiropractic physicians and practitioners engaged in the field of chiropractic medicine who have met the professional knowledge standards established by the Board.

The Diplomate in Clinical Chiropractic Pediatrics (DICCP)
The Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics is one of the specialty departments of the International Chiropractors Association and its primary objective is to provide superior postgraduate education in pediatrics to the doctor of chiropractic so they have the knowledge and skills to provide care to infants and children that is effective, always safe, and clinically appropriate and of a high professional standard.
International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA)
The ICPA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to advance chiropractic by establishing evidenced informed practice, supporting excellence in professional skills and delivering educational resources to the public. It fulfills this mission by engaging and serving family chiropractors worldwide through research, training and public education.
Philosophy
Diplomate in Chiropractic Philosophical Standards.(DPhCS)
The Council has a postgraduate program in chiropractic philosophy leading to a Diplomate in Chiropractic Philosophical Standards.(DPhCS). This is a 300+ hours of both onsite and online learning. The program is currently offered through Sherman College of Chiropractic (Year I) and in Chicago through the Center for Chiropractic Progress.

Council of Chiropractic Physiological Therapeutics and Rehabilitation
The organization is called the Council of Chiropractic Physiological Therapeutics and Rehabilitation. The council is an affiliation of the American Chiropractic Association. The Council is a non-profit organization. The membership is made up of various philosophies and operated by democratic rule of its membership. The yearly dues are set according to the by-laws. The dues are set to maintain fiscal integrity.
Spinal Trauma
Chiropractic Certification in Spinal Trauma (CCST)
This highly acclaimed ten-module program is designed to increase expertise and improve clinical outcomes in spinal trauma cases through more thorough, confident case management and enhanced communication with patients and other professionals. Successful completion of the seminar modules and final examination leads to completion of the Chiropractic Certification in Spinal Trauma (C.C.S.T.) credential for through the ICA Council on Applied Chiropractic Sciences. Doctors not interested in certification may also take individual seminar sessions for continuing education credit and enhanced expertise in areas of special concern and interest.
Sports
American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians DACBSP CCSP
The DACBSP (Diplomate American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians) certification requires the doctor to first achieve CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) certification. The CCSP requires the doctor to attend a minimum of 100 hours of a 120 hour postgraduate CCSP program. The hours mentioned are class hours. Following the completion of these hours, the doctor must take and successfully pass a comprehensive written examination to receive the CCSP certification.
International Federation of Sports Chiropractic
The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic / Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport (FICS) is comprised of national chiropractic sports councils worldwide and individual members, and has affiliations with international organizations within the chiropractic profession and the world of sports.
Upper Cervical
Diplomate in the Upper Cervical Spine DCCJP
The Council on Upper Cervical Care is one of the specialty councils of the International Chiropractors Association. It is a professional forum designed to advance expertise in the analysis and care of the upper cervical spine and to be a voice for upper cervical chiropractic in research, education, clinical and policy-making environments. To this end it offers a post-doctoral program in upper cervical care leading to a Diplomate in Chiropractic Craniocervical Junction Procedures (DCCJP).
Veterinary
American Veterinary Chiropractic Association
A professional membership group promoting animal chiropractic to professionals and the public, and acting as the certifying agency for doctors who have undergone post-graduate animal chiropractic training. Members working together within their disciplines to expand and promote the knowledge and acceptance of animal chiropractic to their professions, the public and governments; locally, nationally and internationally.

Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner (CCWP)
The ICA Council on Wellness Lifestyle Science offers guidance, resources and support for doctors of chiropractic to build a leadership role in the Wellness Movement building momentum in communities everywhere. Membership in the Council on Wellness Lifestyle Science supports exciting elements of the chiropractic profession's growing role in this vitally important dimension of health and healing.
