Jon Cryer won the Emmy for lead actor in a comedy series last night for his role as Chiropractor Alan Harper on the hit tv series "Two and a Half Men". Previously the Doctor of Chiropractic role landed him six Emmy nominations for supporting actor and a win in 2009.
The 10th season of the show airs Sept 27th 2012, which has been in syndication since 2003 and has aired in over 50 countries. "Two and a Half Men" started as a comedy about a care free jingle writer Charlie Harper, played by Charlie Sheen, who has his life is turned upside down when his recently divorced Chiropractor brother moves into his Malibu beachfront home with his adolescent son. Jon Cryer’s role as Dr. Alan Harper became a larger portion of the plot when Charlie Sheen was replaced last year with a new character portrayed by Ashton Kutcher. Over the years a few episodes have featured Chiropractor Alan Harper in his office and treating patients.
